Bruce Jones started playing when he was 13 years of age in Detroit, Michigan. His first instrument was the saxophone. He performed with numerous jazz artists including James Carter. Bruce’s unique bass style has been influenced by Stanley Clarke, John Pettitucci, Marcus Miller and Jaco Pastorius. He is one of the primary composers for the Lions.
