Herb Jackson

Herb Jackson is a co-founder of the Lions. He began his professional career at the age of 13 in New Orleans, performing with the percussion group “The Geeje’ Band”. He has shared the stage with Ernie K-Doe, Johnny Adam, and Walter Wolfman Washington. His band was the featured performer at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival for over a decade. Herb has written a number of Lion’s original charts.
